Big rainfall on the way apparently...thought this was the summer, typical NI weatherSome huge rainfall amounts showing over parts of NI at the moment. Notably Co Armagh and Down. The dark areas showing over 76mm per hour in places

Take care if travelling.

Wowww!! That was some rain fall yesterday.

I actually heard someone say "it was the kind of rain to get you wet" πŸ˜‚Rain Rain Rain!

As you may have noticed, the last 24 hours have been rather wet. In fact we measured rainfall at our MET station from 10am yesterday until 10am today to be 49.7 mm... an incredible amount!

So what does this mean? It was:
1. The wettest day in 32 years
2. The 6th wettest day since records began
3. The wettest June day in 131 years
4. The 2nd wettest June day since records began
5. The 4th wettest summer (June, July, August) day since records began

Thanks to our MET reader Rok for the information!

Gutter clean and repair carried out early on Sunday morning.

The existing gutter needed a bit of TLC, as well as a few slipped / broken roof slates.

Once the gutter was cleaned out we applied a waterproof fibre-membrane coating system.

The new seamless coating sealed all joints within the gutter, preventing any future gutter leak issues.

If you are a Commerical / Industrial building owner & interested in this service, please PM the page or ring our office for more details.
